New Home Foundations Program
New Home. Calm Beginnings. Confident Futures.
A 4-week, force-free and fear-free program designed to support newly adopted and new-to-home dogs during their first month. When guidance, consistency, and calm support matter most.
Why We Created This Program
Our goal is to help more pets get adopted and confidently settle into their forever homes. The first month in a new environment plays a critical role in long-term success.
Many dogs adjust to a new home in stages, often referred to as the 3–3–3 Rule:
First 3 Days: Decompression and observation
First 3 Weeks: Routine formation and growing confidence
First 3 Months: Emotional comfort and security
This program is intentionally designed to support the most sensitive phase the first 3–4 weeks.

How to Get Started
Bringing a new dog into your family is a special moment, and we’d love to support you from the very beginning. Each New Home Foundations experience starts with a complimentary evaluation, giving us the opportunity to get to know your family and help your dog feel safe and comfortable.
We can meet you on adoption day or in your home, wherever your dog feels most at ease. From there, booking and scheduling are simple through Time To Pet, so you can focus on enjoying this new chapter while we take care of the details.
